A classic profile with lots of Blackcurrant, juicy (and slightly umami) tamarillo and a brown sugar sweetness.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSL28 and SL34; cultivars released by Scott Laboratories in the 1930s, are well know for their high cup quality. Their deep root systems also enable the trees to tap the limited water resources and thrive without irrigation. Ruiru 11 however is resistant to both coffee berry disease and leaf rust, which can be devestating to a producer’s crop.
