Santa Elisa

Santa Elisa

Introducing the white series: a place for coffees that don’t quite fit into our regular line-up but are not wild or weird enough for the black series either. The white series will be a home for unique, high end coffees processed in a more traditional style. This will all be exceptional coffees that we fell in love with, but might just be too expensive for your daily cup.

Santa Elisa is a beautiful washed geisha from Guatemala. This is the second year we bought this coffee through Los Volcanes and it's tasting even better than last year.

Finca Santa Elisa is located in the Acatenango region of Guatemala. From the farm you have a breathtaking view of the massive Acatenango and Fuego Volcanoes. Fuego has earned its name by being one of the most active volcanoes in the world.

This lot was processed by Los Volcanes at their mill in Antigua called Beneficio La Esperanza. They have to be extra careful with the cherries due to the large amount of ash that often covers them from Vulcan de Fuego. Despite this extra hard condition they manage to produce beautiful, clean coffees. Expect delicate aromas of orange blossom with a lot of stone fruit in the cup. It's classic expression of the geisha variety. Get it while it lasts, we only have 30kg available.
